Mixing Calculator
What is a Peptide Mixing Calculator?
The Peptide Mixing Calculator is a tool designed to help you accurately mix peptides. It calculates how much solvent (like bacteriostatic water) to add to your peptide powder and determines the correct dosage to use.
How to Use the Peptide Mixing Calculator
Using the calculator is simple. Start by selecting the volume of your syringe (0.3 mL, 0.5 mL, 1 mL, or 2 mL). Then, choose the amount of peptide in your vial (5mg, 10mg, 15mg, or custom). Next, enter how much bacteriostatic water you’re adding (1ml, 2ml, 3ml, 5ml, or custom). Finally, input the desired peptide dose (50 mcg, 100 mcg, 250 mcg, 500 mcg, or custom). The calculator will then show you how much to draw into your syringe for accurate dosing.
Storing Your Peptides
Proper storage is essential for maintaining peptide effectiveness. Store peptides between 36°F and 46°F (2°C to 8°C), whether they are in their freeze-dried form or reconstituted. Peptides in lyophilized form can be kept in the freezer, which is a great option for long-term storage.
Peptide Reconstitution
Peptides are often sold in freeze-dried form. It must be reconstituted with a solvent before use. It’s important to handle the process carefully to avoid damaging the peptide. You’ll need bacteriostatic water, a sterile syringe, an alcohol wipe, and the lyophilized peptide vial.
How to Reconstitute Peptides
Start by wiping the top of your peptide and solvent vials with an alcohol wipe. Using a sterile syringe, draw the required amount of bacteriostatic water and inject it into the peptide vial. For example, you might add 1ml of water. Be sure not to touch the needle to maintain sterility. Different doses require different amounts of water, so use the calculator to guide you.
The IronMountainLabz Peptide Mixing Calculator ensures your peptides are properly mixed and ready for accurate dosing.
