Description
Albuterol Salbutamol
Albuterol, also known as salbutamol, belongs to a class of compounds known as bronchodilators or medicinal aids for the prevention and treatment of shortness of breath caused by breathing-related disorders such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It works in the airways by opening breathing passages and relaxing muscles. Many athletes use bronchodilators as a treatment for airway hyperresponsiveness during exercise. Recent research studies have shown high concentration beta2-agonist or bronchodilator may have an ergogenic effect on exercise performance. The study hypothesis is that the beta2-agonist, salbutamol, taken in high doses can improve muscle power and recovery during exercise in well-trained athletes.
