Epistane is an anabolic compound that mainly affects the androgen receptors in muscles, giving a signal to create and develop new structures. In addition, Epistane is indicated as an anti-estrogenic compound. It does not aromatize or show any progestational effect meaning it does not cause effects attributed to natural progesterone. This limits the probability of gynecomastia and other side effects caused by the activity of female hormones.
Epistane binds to androgen receptors in skeletal muscle cells and interestingly, muscle stem cells. This leads to changes in muscle cell functioning and protein synthesis. In the case of muscle stem cells that change and connect with the active adult skeletal muscle, they increase the muscle potential for growth and repair.

Trenavar, also known as Trendione, is an androgenic prohormone that is known for its fast-acting results and short cycle duration. As a prohormone, Trenavar is converted into its more powerful steroidal counterpart, Trenbolone, after it passes through the liver. The liver hydrolyzes the 17-ketone, turning Trenavar into Trenbolone. In other words, only one ketone is changed to turn Trenavar into Trenbolone.
Studies show that Trenbolone, the steroidal compound that Trenavar is converted into, is rated at 500 for muscle building potential compared to testosterone’s ranking of 100. This shows Trenbolone to be an extremely androgenic and anabolic compound, with the ability to promote higher levels of testosterone and muscle growth.

A scientific study published in 2005 examined the effects of Andarine S-4 in the skeletal muscles, bones, and pituitary glands of castrated male rats. A treatment protocol (3 and 10mg/kg S4- Andarine for 8 weeks) was commenced 12 weeks after castration. Andarine (doses 3 and 10 mg/kg) restored soleus muscle mass and strength and levator ani muscle mass to that seen before castration or in intact animals.
This makes S4 an investigational Selective androgen receptor modulator, for possible treatment of conditions related to muscle wasting, osteoporosis, and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). It can mimic many of the beneficial pharmacologic effects associated with testosterone.
