Description
Syn-Ake
Syn-Ake is a synthetic peptide modeled after Waglerin-1, a peptide found in Temple Viper venom. In research, it is studied for its ability to modulate neuromuscular signaling by selectively inhibiting acetylcholine activity at the neuromuscular junction. This mechanism is investigated for its potential to temporarily reduce muscle contraction, which in experimental studies correlates with decreased formation of dynamic wrinkles.
