Ostarine, also known as MK-2866, is currently one of the most popular research compounds as an oral, nonsteroidal and selective androgen receptor modulator (SARM), that was developed for treatment of conditions such as muscle wasting and osteoporosis. According to research, it selectively binds to androgen receptors in the body and displayed beneficial effects on the muscle structure and metabolism in ovariectomized rats. Ostarine also displayed improved muscle vascularization in these ovariectomized rats.
