Description
Gonadorelin
Gonadorelin, also known as gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH), is a naturally occurring hormone that plays a key role in the regulation of reproductive functions. It is produced in the hypothalamus and stimulates the release of gonadotropins, specifically luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), from the pituitary gland. The release of LH and FSH then triggers the production of sex hormones (testosterone in males and estrogen in females) by the gonads (testes in males and ovaries in females). Gonadorelin is utilized in medical settings to diagnose and treat certain reproductive disorders, and its synthetic analogs are employed in assisted reproductive technologies and hormonal therapies. As with any hormone-related substance, the use of gonadorelin should be supervised by healthcare professionals to ensure proper dosing and address individual health considerations.
